I can’t believe I cut my hair. Ok, so I didn’t cut it myself, but I asked someone to. I actually told my hair dresser that she had 5 inches to play with. Am I an idiot? Really, am I? She pulled out some razor looking thing and went to work. I swear to god, one piece looks like she took off 10 inches. I guess I wasn’t clear enough. It’s that 5 inches is really 5 inches thing.
I’m not going to say I don’t like my hair. I know it will be fine eventually, but damn, not only did she cut a bunch, all the blonde is gone. I’m such an ash-y mousey brown now… I guess I should be thankful that my grey hairs are really white, and they aren’t so noticible. Nikki said that once I spend some time in the sun it will go blonde again. Now, I can’t wait for summer.
Daisy also got a hair cut this weekend. Damn, she looks good. Everyone was coddling her yesterday, telling her how cute she looks, and what a good cut she got. No one said I had a cute hair cut. Damn dog. I’m beginning to think that the neighbours really do like her company better than mine. They just put up with me because they like her.
Today, I packed for most of the day. I’m no where near done, but, I got a lot done. I spent most of the last hour shreding checking account statements from 1995. Why I have records that old I have no idea, but I do. I basically purged my relationship with Michael tonight. It was really weird. Then I found the picture I still have of him naked. That was even weirder. Boy, things you find when you move.
At least I’m not too sad about purging him. I did it, right?
I am the Queen of Bad Haircuts so I totally understand where you’re coming from. But, it will be okay. I promise. A month from now you’ll not even be thinking about it. As for packing, UGH. HATE it. There really isn’t much else in the world worse than that. Now, moving into someplace new and getting everything all put together and set up is fun but packing? Good luck, babe.
