remember before stephen left me for bakersfield? we went to bookbuyers and he gave me his HUGE store credit? they had the devil wears prada. i, of course, put it in my stack of books to purchase with that lovely credit. then came the killer… they wanted twice as much as the price listed to purchase it, simply because it is a new book. needless to say, i can buy a ton of books on henry viii’s era with that!
so, stephen writes me to tell me that he is almost done reading it, and that he is going to send it to me! how cool is that… next on his read list is shop girl by steve martin… i’m pretty sure that i have it, but i’ve not read it.
current read? lucy sullivan is getting married. last read, was jane green’s bookends, which i just loved. i really like jane green. she just knocks the nail on the head most days. and, i’ve not started the last book i talked about… i’m kinda scared it’s gonna be bad. what a weenie am i? it’s a book for heavens sake!
