first, thank you for your calls! had i known that writing about medical procedures would bring actual phone calls, i would have been writing about such things way before now!
anyway. good news is that was nothing on my cervex that looked liked it needed a closer look. i even was ready! i got myself relaxed and said, ok, do it! and there was nothing to take! isn’t that cool?
the weird news is that i had a polyp next to my cervex. about the size of a large pea. the dr. removed it, of course, much to my dismay. i said, no, i don’t want that, and by then, it was already done. i’m such a wimp. so, my little white pea looking polyp is off to the lab to ensure that is is benign. the dr. said when she saw it, “you have a benign little polyp here”. so, i’m not too concerned. she said these things happen all the time. the body likes to produce them.
so, i’m not worried about cancer anymore. that is a good thing.
