last night, mom and i went down to cuesta park to listen to their summer sounds concert series. The Swing Solution played as mom and i at our picnic dinner. mom made these wonderful sandwiches, cut up a ton of fruit and made coleslaw for the event. it was lovely. it was nice to have someone else make dinner!
there were several older couples who danced. i forgot how much i wanted to find a partner to dance with. speed never would dance with me, and jt never could remember the step. it would have been so cool to have someone there to dance with. the new boy was supposed to join us, but didn’t get home from his event in time. oh well, his loss. brought his dinner for lunch today… someone has to eat it. we had to leave a bit early, mom had to use the ladies, and i really wanted ice cream. we stopped at DQ. gotta love blizzards.
