On Monday, Sean turned two months old. It was a very big day for him. He went to the doctors and had four shots. The doctor put me in a corner and wouldn’t let me watch. John was also told to not pay attention. It was very quick, four little band-aids were placed upon his legs and then I gave him Baby Tylenol to help with the pain. Poor guy. He had a fever most of the afternoon, but it never got higher than 101.7. So, that was ok. He slept quite a bit in the afternoon.
The fun thing about this appointment was the statistics! Sean is now a whopping 13 pounds 3.5 oz and 24.5 inches long. You guessed it, he is in the 91% percentile in height and the 81% in weight… Interestingly, his height/weight ratio is only 13.7%. That means, he is long and lanky! Yeah, well, I knew that.
Last night Sean had 8oz of formula for his 8 o’clock feeding. We couldn’t believe it. He just kept eating and eating. One would have thought that he would have slept through the night. NOPE. 1:00 am this boy was crying for food. I really think it’s time for rice cereal, but the doctor says no. So, we are waiting.
Tuesday, mom and I took Sean to get his picture taken.
Isn’t he adorable! Ok, well, I’m biased.
I think he is up from his nap now, so no time to talk about the very ugly baby sweater I knit. Darn, maybe next time.
That is such an adorable picture of Sean! He sure is a handsome boy.
You are not biased – he is adorable. Thanks for the card, just got it yesterday!
Gwen,
ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE ! Did you receive our look alike pic of Jake when he was about Sean’s age? I am not sure if it went through email the right way.
