1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand?
I love to knit with wool. Then, wool blends, alpaca, mohair, and the like. I even own camel and quivet. I don’t avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand, but normally, they just aren’t what I’m knitting with.
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
Nope and nope. I’d like to learn to crochet. I’m not too sure about spinning.
3. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
Right now? A plastic bin. I’m ashamed to say I don’t have a good place to keep them. :(
4. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I am an advanced knitter, and have been knitting off and on since I was 10. I prefer simple projects, but I do enjoy a nice aran cable from time to time.
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
You know it. Here it is!
6. What’s your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
I’m not really a scent kind of person. I’m allergic to most. Vanilla works, so does Verbena. Other than that, I don’t really care for it.
7. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
I have a very sweet tooth. I like milk chocolate, with peanut things in it. Butterfinger, Reese, See’s P-Nut Crunch. I also like fruit in my chocolate. And mint. I like mint in my chocolate too.
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
Well, I just re-did my bathroom. I make a mix cd every Christmas, and I’m known to make a web page design or two.
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
MP3’s are fine. I like The Wallflowers, REM, Counting Crows, Lisa Loeb… Folky stuff. And then there is Deke. I love Deke.
10. What’s your favorite color? Or—do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can’t stand?
Pink. Pink. Pink. Pick pink and you can’t go wrong. I also like blues and browns. Greens are good. Not much for yellow, or black for that matter.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I have my Daisy, and then my mom. Otherwise it’s just me.
12. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
All of the above.
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?
I like Cascade 220, Noro Kureyon, Brown Sheep Wool… I like most Rowan yarns. Wool, not cotton. I don’t really like knitting with cotton.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
Cotton. Synthetic stuff. Eyelash and hairy, eww.
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?
Felted purses. Flowers. I love to knit flowers.

17. What are you knitting right now?
Purses to felt, a scarf, a hat made out of sock yarn, a couple of baby blankets, a baby sweater… God, I really need to look at what I have on needles!

I love handmade gifts.
19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?
I like circular needles. They make life grand.
20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
Bamboo, bamboo, bamboo! I hate metal and plastic.

I have both! 
I know, I’m lucky.

Girl Scouts when I was 10.
23. How old is your oldest UFO?
I think it’s two years now. I really hate that baby blanket. I’ve only got like 5 more inches to go too.
24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?
I don’t really have one. I like my dog Daisy, and anything with daisies on it.
25. What is your favorite holiday?
It used to be Christmas, but now it’s my birthday.
26. Is there anything that you collect?
Vintage handbags.
27. What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?
I have them all. Disgusting, isn’t it.
28. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on?
There is the knitted flowers book that is coming out by Nicky Epstein, but my mom preordered it for me. I’m always on the look out for pretty buttons or dress clips that would embellish my purses. I like things that are bigger than an inch.
29. Are there any new techniques you’d like to learn?
Some days I think I’d like to try lace knitting, then other days I say to myself, am I smoking crack?
30. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?
Eww. No. I have a size 9 foot, if you want to knit some for me… But, I’d never knit them myself.
