Lookie how I got to spend my evening last night! I got my last SP11 box from Melissa. I swear that Melissa is a much better shopper than I. She said she didn’t go over the limit. I think she lies!
This box started with lots of pink paper, which I love!
I was too impatient to wait and take a picture of each item, so, here is the whole thing opened!
I got 2 skeins of Plymouth Smile, in the prettiest fall colors. Then there is a pattern for a purse to make with the Smile (which I brought with me to work today to work on this afternoon on the way to birthing class). Then there is a Hershey’s Kiss, which I can’t eat until after the glucose test. I have sworn off candy until after I take that test. Finally, there is the cutest snowflake ornament, made just for me, by her.
This was the nicest box yet. I am really going to miss Melissa spoiling me. Her letters really did brighten my spirits when the shit started hitting the fan with my parents.
I also wanted to share that I got the Knit Picks Harmony Wood needles for my birthday from my mom. I am excited to try them, as I’ve heard great things about them on various lists and at knitting meet-up.
In addition, Stevie sent me the Reliant K Christmas CD AND the My So Called Life DVDs. I so wanted My So Called Life. I was mad at myself for not buying it the first time it was released. Now I have it, and I’m super happy.
Thank you Melissa, Mom and Steven! Even though the day isn’t necessarily a good one, I do feel special.
yay! I’m glad you liked everything. I couldn’t help myself, I wanted to send you something cool for your birthday. The My So Called Life Dvds are actually on my Christmas list. I can’t wait to watch all the episodes again.
