Last week, I got this absolutely wonderful little book, made by my secret pal.  It tells me all kinds of things about her, including that she loves REM too, which is totally awesome!  I have not taken a picture yet.  However, it is on my coffee table, so that I can look at it.  It’s so cute, made out of paper bags and little paper notes and even has some cute knitted pink mittens on one of the pages.  I so love getting mail, and my pal is so good at sending me … [Read more...]

I was so excited last night when I was in the kitchen, mashing potatoes.  John walked out to get the mail, and I got the only good piece.  A letter from my secret pal!  I just love these letters, and I feel so special. I hate it when I’m bad about responding to my friends that send me email.  I’ve been that way lately.  I owe at least 5 emails now, all deserving of a very long response.
