August Scrapbook Island Design Team Project

This month I was lucky to get Authentique “Curiosity” in my design team box. It’s a really cute line, and I love the teal and yellow with the gray, black, and cream. I was given a really cute little mini book to work with by October Afternoon. I really loved the “PLAY” that was laser cut in the front of the book. I thought that the best way to deal with it, and ensure that it was in focus was to paint it a gray color. I then backed it with the teal. It still seemed dark, so I filled it with glossy accents. It’s just lovely. I thought the book needed pockets. So, I made extra pages with pockets and tags. I’m not really one for minibooks… So there aren’t as many embellishments.

I’m really happy with the 2 LO’s that I created. I thought they would be more like a double, and I did create them at the same time… But they look more like singles, so that’s what I did with them. They make me happy!

I hope you enjoy!

This LO uses Authentique Curiosity “studious”, “interested”, “desire” & “determined” papers, the “details” and “elements” stickers. I also used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade & Peacock Feathers, and chipboard numbers.
