Yoga, i believe, is kicking my ass

Today, I am utterly exausted. I hurt in my shoulders, my thighs, my knees… On top of it all, I was so hungry when I got back from my lunch time walk, I scarfed my lunch. I was eating so fast I forgot to breathe. How fun is your pudding stick to eat when you shove it in your mouth so fast that you don’t remember what it tasted like?

I don’t know, maybe I’m exercising too much. I’m only doing the 1/2 hour in the morning and yoga on Tuesday nights. That didn’t seem like too much. But last night, the yoga hurt. It just hurt every little muscle in my body. My back has been cracking like no tomorrow, and I think my shoulders will never shrug again!

It also could be that Daisy seems to have a flea. I’ve only seen the one, and I didn’t kill it (it got away from me). I gave her the flea medicine, and a bath, but she is still getting up every night to roll on the floor. Normally she has been waking up at 1:30 am. Last night, it was 4:15 am. Why she can’t just itch without rolling all over the floor, i will never know. Lucky Daisy is going to the groomers on Friday. She is getting a dip, and that will be the end of the flea!

Oh my. I think I’m going to put my head down. I feel ill.

  1. My dogs get REALLY bad dry skin problems and they do that roll around thing and it drives me insane! hehe…I try to put moisturizer on them, but they hate that. (go figure).

Sorry you’re sore from yoga! LilZoot and I have been running half a mile and walking half a mile on afternoons he doesnt have soccer, and I’m SORE from that too, and its only TEN MINUTES. haha.

  2. Half an hour is a lot actually… You should try taking breaks, so your muscles have time to heal. When you work out hard, you tear your muscle tissue and have to rebuild it stronger, that’s why it hurts – but then again you are getting stronger in the process! Anyway, your body needs time off to adjust.
