so this morning brought a phone call at 8:51 am. granted, i was expecting this phone call… but not that early. daisy and i were still in bed. she was snoring, and i’m guessing i was too. i didn’t get home from new boy’s until almost 1 am. then, stupid me got on the computer. why, god only knows. playing solitare… WHY? it’s wrong.

anyway, katherine installed something that msn sent her. she uses msn for her isp and she got a new cd, it said install this, so she did. her poor operating system. it just messed it up.

so, this week at work, i printed out all the instructions on how to re-install her operating system (windows 98)… and over the next 2 hours, i walked her through every step. got the operating system reinstalled, then the device drivers… by the end of the conversation, she was estatic. now, i’m late for going to davis… bummer! i think i’m going to figure out how to get paid for all this time i spend helping mom’s friends… and just think when i was unemployed, none of these people wanted to hire me!
