have you ever put a peep in the microwave, just to see what would happen. hootie absolutely loves doing this. you get to watch this poor little sugar coated piece of marshmallow expand to like 10 times its size, and then deflate... he then eats the peep. hmmm. to be a 14 year old boy. ok, i have to say it, i've never done this, but i am the one who told him that this would happen. i remember mar being pretty pissed about it. now, of course, i think he does it just to bug her. … [Read more...]

my world champion san jose sabercats are back on the winning track. I got to meet clevan thomas tonight. that was really cool. he will be back to the game next week. apparently, he hurt his big toe in practice two weeks ago, and it's pretty hard to play with a hurt toe. i'm glad he is going to be back. he really is holding up the offence. so word on the street is that i am talking to a new boy. hmmm. just what should i say about this? absolutely nothing. i am not going to jinx myself. … [Read more...]

i've finally finished making my split pea soup. i think it came out ok, but i didn't get it done in time to eat it for dinner. it made way more than i expected. i've got 5 one serving containers in the freezer, and then 2 big bowls of it in the fridge. i guess i'm going to be eating well. i've decided that it is not my time to meet new people. i'm pulling my profiles off of the dating services. honestly, i'd rather be alone, and know why i'm alone, than to sit here and wonder why no one … [Read more...]

for the first time in a long time, i slept the whole day today. i don't know if it is depression, or if it is still remenants of being sick. i'm guessing the latter. mar had me over for dinner. she made flank steak. it was very yummy. i made the mashed potatoes. i didn't add too much salt. i either don't put enough, or put way too much. i did it right. that was nice. yesterday mar and i spent the day together. we had a really nice time. i just wish that we did something besides … [Read more...]
