fishy fishy in the sea

this week, the boy was the social coordinator.

(unfortunately, the boy is still sick. he informed me that his father now has the cold too. what a bad girlfriend am i… sharing the cold with everyone!)

the boy asked me if i wanted to go to the auto show, bowling or maybe putt-putt. i put out that if he wanted to go to the movies, i’d like to see big fish. you know it. the boy picked big fish for date night.

what an excellent film! i loved every aspect of it! it was witty, clever, funny, and really made me think. lately when i’ve gone to the movies, i’ve been bored. this movie was anything but boring. it was magical watching the stories unfold… and the ending was everything i wanted to know and more. it was a true movie, with a begining, middle and end. no letting me down looking to have a sequel. just a excellent old fashioned movie.

lucky me had the boy for most of the day on sunday too. we took a nap on the couch. it was really cute. he was taking up most of the couch, so daisy and i sat at his feet… within a few minutes we were all sleeping, listening to the green bay game. what a lovely, lazy sunday.

oh yeah. mom loves being back to work. she sounds absolutely energized. she says its the physical theropy, i think it’s the fact that she feels useful. go figure, she is happy and that is all that matters.
