What a whirlwind the past 2 weeks have been!  I had a scheduled c-section on Wednesday, March 5 at 5:45 pm.  I really was very scared, and honestly hoped that my pregnancy was not going to end that way.  When we got to the hospital, I was immediately greeted by my nurse (whose name I just can’t remember), who tried really hard to ensure that I was comfortable.  I was.  I was put on the fetal monitor, which said that the baby was fine.  That was good.  … [Read more...]

There is so much to talk about! First, the appointment on Friday gave us very good news.  My little man is not 9.5 lbs, he is only 7 lbs 14 oz.  That means if he comes on his due date, he will be under 9 lbs.  Thank god.  I mean really, I’m just not thinking I can push out an almost 10 lb baby.  The doctor says that my boy is acting like a fat baby.  He is very high, although his head has been down for a month now.  However, he is not engaged.  He … [Read more...]
