i've finally finished making my split pea soup. i think it came out ok, but i didn't get it done in time to eat it for dinner. it made way more than i expected. i've got 5 one serving containers in the freezer, and then 2 big bowls of it in the fridge. i guess i'm going to be eating well. i've decided that it is not my time to meet new people. i'm pulling my profiles off of the dating services. honestly, i'd rather be alone, and know why i'm alone, than to sit here and wonder why no one … [Read more...]

cadbury mini eggs have got to be the best candy ever. i just adore these things. they are only available at easter, and i've been eating them all day. yummy. great way to get over your depression and get a sugar high all at once! yes, i'm still a bit sick, but these even help being sick. i hope my mom got her easter package today, then she will be eating her favorite easter candy too... … [Read more...]

ms. anne-a-belle's baby shower was today. i blew off a bbq at andrea's last night to ensure that i was going to be in tip top shape. i do feel bad, but then i don't. my nose looks like crap from all the blowing and i wanted to have daisy with me. i'm not sure that she is welcome at andrea's new house. anyway, miss anne-a-belle's shower was at macarthur park in downtown palo alto. not only was it free, it was champange brunch for free. $31 per person for free. can you say, "mar and i … [Read more...]
