i’m dying to go back to ireland again today… i’ve been forwarding ads to my mother about specials offered by the irish tourist board. she isn’t biting. not that i have a vacation day to use. i used every bit of them going to washington dc. if i ever talk about taking a trip with mar and tire man again smack me upside the head quick!
so today, in the spirit of erie, i’m wearing the laura ashley skirt that i bought in ireland the first time i went. that was the trip with aunt connie and aunt barbara. i was about 5 lbs thiner then, but i’m feeling pretty good about my weight so, i’m wearing it. it swishes when i walk. i absolutely adore it. sage green and lavendar plaid, cut on the bias, aline… 100% wool, yes wool, in the summer in california. i wanted to be transported back to a time when things were better. things are always great when i’m in ireland.
oh yeah. gigglechick gave up on the RHB. well, there you go. i’m not the only one with boy problems. i hope things go better for her too.
