LOAD514 – Day Nineteen, my love letter

You know, sometimes I’m right on track with the prompts, and sometimes, I’m ahead.  I’m ahead this LOAD.  Today’s prompt, what do you want to be when you grow up.  Hmph.  I remember doing a LO for the first past perfect that was what I wanted to be when I grew up.  And then for this LOAD I did a page about Sean wanting to be a ninja.I’m not feeling like going on a trip down memory lane to find a photo to talk about something I’m not sure about anymore.

However, I’ve was watching Lain’s Creative Live  class this morning, and the first thing she asked the group to do was write a love letter.  So, here I am thinking…  I’d much rather do that.  So, I thought I would write one to Sean.

Scrapbook LO of SeanI’ve always wanted to do something like this.  Every year on his birthday I tell myself that I’m going to write something about him, and then also write about what I want for him in the future.

I so love washi…  It gives these great stripes without having to try too hard.  I love stick pins, and I adore those star paperclips I have.  I was amazed how fast this one popped out.  It was the writing of the letter that really took the most time.  I taped it to the back…  In the real LO there is a little look behind written under mommy.  I thought it was important to take the time to write an actual letter.  It talks about what he loves, and who he is…  You know, sappy stuff.  I also told him I hope he doesn’t throw my albums away.

Speaking of…  Has anyone ever scanned their LOs and made a photobook with them?  John and I were talking about doing that this week.  It would make it easier for Sean to look at the stories, and then if he chose to toss everything after I die, he would still have the pictures…  What do you think?
