after a fairly easy plane ride, mar, tire man and i arrived in washington dc. i slept a bit on the plane, knitted a bit and read a bit of my book. i don’t mind flying, but it’s a bit boring. mar and tire man snuggled the whole time. i kinda wished that i had invited sb to join us.
sb got up just after 5 to take us all to the airport. that was so wonderful. he is such a nice guy.
mom looks so much better than i expected. she is growing her hair out too. she doesn’t look as old as i remembered, but she is still shrinking. hmmm… i guess i know what i have to look forward too. 
maybe that isn’t such a bad thing. 
tomorrow we are off to the white house and the capitol. mar brought the digital camera, so i’m hoping i will have pictures for you. oh, yeah. we brought the rain with us. bummer.
