So, for the first time in a very, very, VERY long time, I did not turn in a homework assignment on time. No where near on time. Actually, it was due last Wednesday. I just didn't have it in me to do it. Not that I really have it in me now. I've just about finished it, but I've got another one really due tomorrow. That one isn't done either. Tonight is my last class. That is for the one I actually go to. I'm so excited. I'm so ready for this semester to be over. I didn't realize how much work went into school. Ok, busy work. Most of the work wasn't difficult, but it didn't seem to have much of a purpose. Last week in class I had a very nice conversation with a graduate from the program. Tuesday, I went to Yahoo! with my team for grad school to interview a instructional designer. I'm not really sure that the man we interviewed thought he was an Instructional Designer, but I think he manages people who put Instructional Design into use, and therefore will work for what we needed. I used to know about Yahoo! when they were small and had a building off of Central Expressway in Santa Clara, back in my AMD days. So tonight I got the results of the midterm... and turned in the paper... I got an A on the midterm. I didn't really want an A to be honest. I really wanted to feel like I had something to learn. Hmph. Not. I know I know, I'm complaining about an A. It's just sometimes I wonder what I'm doing here. Now, I feel like I can't possibly fail the class, so why bother doing any more assignments. I turned in midterm number two yesterday. At least this one didn't take me 16+ hours to complete like the first one did. This midterm required me to watch an educational television program and answer 10 questions about it. I think I watched the same episode of Knitty Gritty 10 times. I've been putting on movies, first The Girl with the Pearl Earring, then Cold Mountain. During Cold Mountain, Daisy started barking. It was really cute.
