LOAD218 – Day 15

Can I just say, it’s Day 15.  I had to take Sean to rugby last night.  I had to go visit my dad today.  I had book club tonight.  I didn’t have my book read until 6pm today.  Book club is at 7pm.  To say I’ve been busy is an understatement.  It’s days like today that I think I’m just going to give up on LOAD.  And then, this happens…

The prompt: I can do anything.  Something hard or difficult.  OR create a LO with 3 elements.  A large photo, 1 solid color cardstock, 3 pieces of patterned paper, a one word title, and a fussy-cut element.  You can do hard things.

Damn straight I can.  I thought about our adopted bison at Wind Cave National Park.   I had a small photo of our bison.  So, I waited and waited and waited for my computer to decide to print.  And I printed a bigger photo of our bison.  I found 3 patterned papers that I liked together, and tried to make them work.  I had this heart washi staring at me on my desk.  I fussy cut a flower from one of the patterned paper.  I added my one word title, adopted!.  I journalled around the edge, and bam!  I did the hard work.  I finished the LO, and posted by 11:24pm.  I didn’t even use all the time.  I rocked this. LOAD218 - Day 15The thing about the bison.  Sean really wanted the bison stuffed animal that he saw in the gift shop.  Really wanted it.  When he saw that you were actually adopting a bison in a herd at Wind Cave, he knew he could sell us.  I think we even got a certificate.  I told Sean that we would find the herd, and take a picture of the one he wanted to adopt.  On the way out of the visitors center, we saw this bison.  It was the first one we saw of the trip, so we got excited and took it’s picture.  It’s a good thing we did.  It’s the only bison we saw at Wind Cave.  It’s our bison.  Don’t you just love him!
