i was reading my new vogue knitting today, and i started clicking around to some of the yarn vendor websites. not that i need any yarn mind you. i’ve got enough in my stash to last for at least a year. boy howdy are there some beautiful yarns out there right now!
one of the links led me to knitting arts in saratoga. i was amazed by the amount of classes that they offer every month! they are a bit far from my house, but i’ve decided to take one. it’s called novelty purses! doesn’t that sound exciting? i think so! when i was in vancouver i saw these tiny purses that were felted. i thought i’d love to make one… so i didn’t buy one. here is my chance!
if you want to go, there is lots of room! i’d love the company!
Go for it! I know how much you like handbags
I’d love to go, but a) it’s way far from my house; and b) I think I’d better master the art of a scarf before I try anything fancy, lol! Can’t wait to see your tiny purses!
Too cool—I love knitting, making a baby hat right now. But it’s really a winter hobby for me. Not so much for summer knitting. Who wants a ball of wool in their lap when it’s +30C outside?
I want to find a good pattern for one of those “shawls” that are so in-style right now. I bought one, but I know that a home-made one would look so much more elegant. That said, it may be way beyond my skill level.
